DISCONTENDEDNESS

Yes, I made up that word. But it had to be done.

I am thrilled that I have 4 steady readers. In fact, all of my polls so far have received 4 loyal votes I believe. However, this time, you have rattled me. Each person voted for something different. Unlike my last blog, it matters this time, folks.

I'm buying something. With money.

How am I supposed to make a decision if my readership can't?

Alright, its time to recruit. I need a new viewer. Someone who can break the tie.

Also, I've been thinking about Pacifism lately. Has anyone out there embraced the pacifist lifestyle?

  1. Whereas I wouldn't call myself a pacifist-

I do deeply believe in jesus' radical message of non-violence.

Whereas I don't believe in the Just war theory

I do deeply believe in the idea of just peacemaking

Whereas I don't believe in being passive

I do believe in action- speaking and moving on behalf of the oppressed.

I would highly recommend Walter Wink's book "powers that Be." It helped me take a theological look into some of the oppressive systems present in the world (including systems of violence)

Glad you're a blogger...and get the white shoes!
