Oh the little things

I think I have officially become an adult. I fell last night. No, I wasn't pushed over. No, I wasn't playing basketball. And NO, I wasn't even running. I was walking, just walking, and I tripped and fell. What an embarrassing moment. I couldn't even catch myself...only old people fall like that and can't catch themselves.

Granted, my hands were full... but it is still ridiculous. I was all by myself. I thought about crying, but what was the use? No one was around to care. So, I picked up everything I had dropped and I walked into my house as the blood oozed down my leg. I tore a chunk of skin off my knee... it's gross.

It ended well, though. Luckily, we didn't have anything resembling a band-aid or piece of guaze large enough to cover the wound. So...I placed a maxi pad on it and bound it to my leg with a sash from Katie's Jean Benet costume. What a night.
